Alcohol Awareness Month is a reminder to take a closer look over time, not just at one moment.
Changes in drinking can be gradual. What starts as social or occasional can slowly become something you rely on, something that affects your mood, your relationships, or how you cope day to day.
Pay attention to the small signs. Needing it more often. Using it to manage stress or emotions. Feeling off the next day. Not feeling like yourself. These moments matter, whether you’re noticing them in yourself or someone you care about.
Awareness is not about judgment. It’s about recognizing when something may not be serving you anymore and knowing that support is available.
