I'm sorry for not posting lately but Miguel is doing good. He has his doctors appointment with his brain surgeon this month so hopefully all goes good.

Miguel's echo came back great! Still can't find a reason for his high pressure in his head but at least we know that his heart is good. His eye sight is getting better and can even see a bit better in his left eye. Witch is amazing. We will have to do alot of lumber punctures to keep the fluid at a safe level but we will do whatever we need to do.

I'd like to start with the good news: Miguel's vision has seen some improvement, with his field of vision increasing in size.

Moving on to the concerning news: an echocardiogram is set for Miguel next week, as the medical team is worried about the possibility of right heart failure. I'm still unclear about the details surrounding this condition, but I'll be providing updates as more information becomes available.

On Monday, Miguel will be admitted to Primary Children's Hospital for treatment of high fluid on the brain. He will undergo another lumbar puncture, as well as additional procedures, the specifics of which are not yet available. The length of his hospital stay is currently unknown. Moreover, a scope procedure has been scheduled to address his weight loss and stomach pain. For those wishing to provide support, Miguel's Venmo information will be posted in the comments.
