Updated as of Monday, November 4, 2024:

At FCHC, we’re closely monitoring our IV fluid and irrigation supply daily to ensure we meet patient needs. Our supply levels are based on what we receive from our supplier, and we’re actively working to manage resources efficiently. As we plan to increase the number of elective surgeries on our schedule, your provider will reach out with any necessary updates. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work together to provide the highest quality care.

Did you know that in the United States, 25% of first-time anaphylactic reactions among children occur in school? This is typically due to new food choices in the cafeteria or first time bee stings at recess.

The PDY school district has teamed up with Dr. Ann Steck and EPIPEN4SCHOOLS to have emergency epipens available in each building in case of a severe allergic reaction. This program was at zero cost to the district and provides additional safety measures above the state requirements. This program does not replace protocols for known anaphylactic conditions and those students with prescribed epipens should still provide documentation and medication to the school.

In recognition of allergy awareness month, we are proud to continue to bring awareness and support to those students with these conditions.
