With this transition comes MyChart, your new all‑in‑one health app. Get test results on your phone, message your care team, schedule visits, request prescription refills, and access your health record in one secure place!

If you're already registered for one of our existing platforms, such as Athena or Meditech, you should receive an email or text message with instructions on how to set up your new MyChart account (if you haven't already). Halifax Health | UF Health - Medical Center of Deltona has donated nine pediatric emergency kits to Deltona Fire & Rescue, ensuring life-saving care for children during critical emergencies.

Unlike adults, children require specialized equipment because their bodies differ significantly in size and physiology. Each backpack-style kit is organized by age group and includes trauma supplies tailored for pediatric patients. Color-coded pouches allow EMS teams to respond quickly when every second counts.

Meet Dr. Yacoub, Vascular Surgeon at UF Health Heart and Vascular Surgery at Halifax Health!

Dr. Yacoub is a board-certified vascular surgeon who earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He underwent general surgery residency training at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, where he served as chief resident. He then pursued a vascular surgery fellowship at West Virginia University School of Medicine. In addition, Dr. Yacoub trained in an advanced aortic fellowship at the Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education, focusing on the treatment of complex thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms using fenestrated‑branched endografts.
