💙 January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month 💙

This is your reminder that Pap smears save lives. Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers — and early detection makes all the difference.

If you’re due (or overdue) for your Pap smear, contact your gynecologist or primary care office. If you're our patient, we’re here for you! Dr. Anderson, Dr. Cannon, and CeRina all provide Pap smears and are happy to help you stay on top of your preventive care.

Taking care of yourself is not something to put off.

As a new year approaches, I'm incredibly grateful to God, my family, my staff, and my community for the love and support they show to me and to Anderson Family Care.

It is an honor to practice medicine and it's a privilege to do it every day with a staff of great women who care so much for our patients and for each other.

No business strategist would suggest that a young woman with no business degree should resign from her job and open an insurance-based private practice in rural Alabama fresh out of the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

But my God defies any statistic and puts us exactly where we are supposed to be, exactly when we are supposed to be there, with exactly what we need to succeed.

In 2022, we opened as a 4 person team in a rented clinic space.
In 2023, we became a 5 person team and broke ground on a new clinic space.
In 2024, we became a 6-person team and moved into the new beautiful clinic that we own.
In 2025, we became an 8-person team and added a physician and physician assistant.

2026 is going to be wild because I'm really starting to walk in the belief that God will do exceedingly and abundantly above all I can ask, hope, or even imagine.

I'm excited for what's next from Anderson Family Care.

We had a fun time at our staff Christmas party!

We escaped the Escape Room last night (with 5:21 left, talk about a great team!) and we escaped clinic today (after seeing the most patients we’ve ever seen in one day!)

We’re looking forward to spending some time with our families and wish you all a safe, happy, and healthy holiday season.
