Leftover flowers are making a lasting impact!

When our volunteer Ruth Lohmann (also a designer at Kati Mac Floral Designs) saw an opportunity to brighten the days of our hospice patients and families, she and the team at Kati Mac brought the idea to life. Using flowers left over from weddings, their team creates beautiful arrangements for Willow Tree Hospice, an Amedisys company in Kennett Square, PA.

From the hands that design to the lives touched by each bouquet, every person involved is part of something beautiful. Thank you to the entire Kati Mac team for helping us serve with heart.

With 8 years of nursing experience, Bailey brings heart, dedication, and a deep sense of compassion to every patient she serves. Although she is newer to the home health setting, her passion for providing personalized relationship-centered care shines through in all she does. She treats her patients like family- helping them stay comfortable and safe in their own homes while celebrating each step of their progress. Her favorite part of home health is watching her patients' health improve over time and knowing she played a part in that journey.

A proud newlywed and animal lover, Bailey recently moved to Cuba area with her husband, Lane, three dogs, and a kitten. When she's not caring for patients, you can find her thrifting, gardening, birdwatching, or enjoying time with family and nature.

AnnaCatherine has been a nurse for 4 years and has gained experience in several different areas of nursing. She says one of the things she loves most about home health is the ability to help patients heal in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.
"There's just no place like home", she often tells her patients. Her goal with every visit is to leave her patients feeling better-both physically and emotionally-and to bring a bit of joy to their day.

When she's not caring for patients, AC enjoys spending time with her husband Garrett, whom she has been married to for 2 years. Together, they love traveling to visit family and friends, baking homemade bread, and staying active!

Hattie is the heart of our team-always going above and beyond to keep our office running smoothly while supporting the operational functions within our care center, clinical staff and patients. Her passion for helping others and her ability to bring people together make her a cornerstone of our success. She truly believes our entire clinical team of nurses and therapists are angels. She loves our team as a second family.

I love home health because it allows me to connect with patients one-on-one, giving me the opportunity to truly focus on their goals. It’s incredibly rewarding to do the activities they love-without limitations. Seeing their progress and knowing I played a part in that journey is what keeps me passionate about my work every day.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my boys-whether it’s hunting, taxidermy, or fitness activities. I've been a nurse for a little over 5 years. My experience in nursing has been working in various different hospitals around the country but nothing beats working in home health!
