🌿✨ From Circe’s Garden: Walking Through the Wilds of Perimenopause ✨🌿
Lately I’ve been sitting with the quiet chaos of perimenopause—the blood mysteries shifting, sugar cravings flaring, energy highs and lows, cortisol rising like a tide at the wrong time of day. Sleep becomes strange. Hunger confusing. Emotions? Ancient and wild.
So I’ve begun working with two new tea blends from my apothecary. Not for sale, for now. Just for this body, this moment, this season of change.
🍃 Sovereign Sugar – a daytime blend I’m brewing in a big 64oz jug, meant to steady blood sugar, ease cravings, and support the adrenals. It’s full of Gymnema, Tulsi, Nettle, Cinnamon, Dandelion root, Ginger, and Licorice—a warming, mineral-rich, deeply balancing brew I plan to sip throughout the day instead of chasing energy with snacks.
🌙 Moonweaver – my evening brew, steeped in a mason jar and poured gently into the night. It’s a blend for hormone support, gut healing, and nervous system restoration. I’m starting with Ashwagandha, Lemon Balm, Chamomile, Plantain, Nettle, Fennel, and Marshmallow root. My hope is to soften into sleep, rather than wrestle my way there.
This is new for me—an experiment, a ritual in progress. I’m listening to my body, to the plants, and to the stories woven through this strange, sacred in-between.
If you’re moving through perimenopause too—hi. You’re not alone. We may not have all the answers, but we have each other. And we have the herbs.
With love from the shifting tide,
~Jayme Lynn
