Ego
Ego, I'm done with you! Your always telling me what to do..
I'm not good enough or worthy is what you say. You don't deserve this or that, you'll never be okay.
After all, your weak you see, you don't deserve to just be!
I hear you whisper in my ear,
What do you think your wearing my dear? Look at you! You look hideous, but mostly fat. Your not REALLY going to wear that?
I hear you mumbling in my head, this will never be. Your not good enough, when will you ever see!
You never can do anything right, I don't know why you think you might.
Over and over I hear you scream these words to me, I'm done with you Ego, just let me be!
You can scream and shout if you may. BUT, it's time I looked the other way.
You can not, will not, talk to ME this way. Not for a single second, not anyday.
I AM worth it, don't you see? I am standing up, to just to be!
I will not allow you anymore, to beat me down and break my core.
I am her, and she is me. I have broken out for all the world to see.
I am powerful, I am love, I am rising up above, what you say I'll never be, now my heart is what is guiding me.
I am powerful within my soul, I've found myself, so I can be whole.
The time is now, Awakening has begun. We've just scratched the surface there's no time to run.
You have to face what hurts so bad to live our life and not be sad.
So listen here Ego, to what I have to say, I will not tolerate the negative talk, even for the day.
My time on Earth is limited and precious as can be, for you to be inside my head and say it's wrong to be me.
I AM love that's why I'm here, for joy and happiness, not to fear.
My heart will break YOU down, for it is me who wears this crown.
We live our life as we choose, and when you take hold of life, you cannot lose.
The choice is yours my friend, but I know where I will be, in the end.
