College student Chloe Koch organized a LifeServe Blood Center scholarship blood drive in December at Crawford County Memorial Hospital.
Her goal extended beyond potential scholarship earnings — she wanted to help support the local blood supply. A frequent blood donor herself, Chloe hopes to raise awareness about how important blood donation is and the impact it has on patients in our community.
Blood donated through LifeServe Blood Center stays local, helping ensure a stable blood supply for those who need it close to home.

This National Blood Donor Month, we’re highlighting the individuals who help make a difference through blood donation.
Cami Keller, a staff physical therapist at CCMH, has been donating blood since the age of 16. She’s driven by a desire to help others and believes that a few seconds of discomfort on her end can make a meaningful difference in meeting the medical needs of someone else. For Cami, donating blood is an easy way to make a big impact, and she encourages eligible donors to give whenever possible.
January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, a reminder that cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers. 💙
Prevention starts with HPV vaccination, regular Pap and HPV tests, and early detection. These important steps can identify precancerous changes early—before cancer has a chance to develop.
At CCMH, our Family Medicine providers are here to support your preventive health by offering HPV vaccinations, performing routine cervical cancer screenings (Pap/HPV tests), providing guidance on safe s*x, and educating patients about risk factors. As a primary point of contact for care, they help make prevention accessible, consistent, and part of your routine health plan.
