Lois Evelyn (Hilliard) Ford, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully Friday, January 30, 2026, in Denison, Texas, at the age of 94.

Lois was born on April 14, 1931, in Denison, Texas, to William Hilliard and Bobbie Lee (Allen) Hilliard at the neighborhood hospital, Halloway Hospital. She was the third of seven children and grew up in a strong faith-based and educated family. Lois attended Langston Elementary and graduated from Terrell High School before continuing her education at Huston–Tillotson University in Austin, Texas.

Lois was raised in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church—a church founded by her grandfather, William Hilliard, along with other respected Denison natives. Keeping with family traditions of faith and service, from her early teens she was a member of Queen Elizabeth Chapter of the Eastern Stars until poor health interfered with her daily activities. Later in life, she became a resolute member of Hopewell Baptist Church, where she was active in the Women’s Missionary and found great joy in helping with Women’s Day programs and other church activities. She established herself as a valued member and valued friend to many.

While growing up surrounded by older brothers who served in the military, Lois met and married TSgt. Willie F. Ford on September 2,1952. They traveled and raised children, across the country and abroad—from Alabama to Germany—before returning and settling in Denison, Texas.

In addition to caring for her family, Lois worked for Levi Strauss & Company and later dedicated 37 years to a fulfilling career at Texas Instruments, retiring in 1990. Her strong work ethic and dedication were hallmarks of her character.

A woman of faith, grace, and quiet strength, Lois found joy in life’s simple pleasures—reading, watching vintage westerns and mysteries, and tending to her flower garden. Her yard was always carefully maintained, and her numerous rose bushes flourished, sometimes into the winter months. Her main source of joy would be her children’s successes and the many great-grandchildren whose voice filled her home on a daily basis.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, William, and Bobbie Lee Hilliard; her beloved husband, Willie F. Ford; her brothers, William, Robert, Oliver, and Tommy Joe; and her sister, Rosemary.

She is lovingly survived by her sister, Bessie Louise of Terre Haute, Indiana; two sons, Anthony (Glenda) Ford of Radcliffe, KY and Ronald A. Ford (Cheryl) of West Covina, California; two daughters, Evelyn S. Cooper and Patricia E. Ford-Teague (Hosie); twelve grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

Lois’s quiet legacy of love, faith, and devotion will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know her. She will always be remembered for being the rule, not the exception for who a true lady should strive to become.

Funeral service for Mrs. Ford will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Hopewell Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Braxton officiating. Interment will follow in Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas. She will lie in state Friday, February 6, 2026, from 10- 5 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Hom

Pallbearers will be Jamal Cooper, Kelvin Ford, Ronald Ford II, Gregory Owens, Barry Malvern, and Ronald Wimbish.

James Kevin Wheeler was a proud father of four wonderful children. Dedicated resident of his hometown Collinsville Tx, where five generations before him had lived. Passed peacefully away in his sleep on January 14, 2026

Kevin was Born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on the month of March in 1968 to Charles Wheeler Sr. & Harriet Morrow. Growing up he learned to love nature it was always his personal safe place however he loved to help as much as he could in the home. He'd kept the fire going through a cold winter night or help mom cook a meal and take out the trash. He had little tolerance for bullies and loved all living things.

Once when he was older his brothers C.J. and Jakie put on some old clothes on Kevin and covered him in powder. C.J. had gotten ahold of some blank bullets that fit a gun that he carried all the time and borrowed another for Kevin. There's a small cemetery on Jordan Creek Road going out to the home place. The plan was to scare the girlfriends at the time. Sunserra, Missy, and Becky. Well Sunserra and Missy found out but we carried out the plan. C.J. & Jackie had dropped Kevin off at the cemetery on our way to get the girls in town. C.J., Jackie and the girls walked around the cemetery as C.J. told the story of it being a gunfighter's cemetery and how they would draw and shoot and how he always wanted to be in a gunfight. Well as they got close to the end of the walk Kevin jumped up and started shooting the blanks, C.J. drew and fired back yelled to Jackie to get the girls to the truck as he kept shooting. They weren't sure how they all got through the barb wire fence, but they did, in that process they almost stepped on Kevin. C.J. while climbing through the fence and caught his toe on the barb wire and fell and hit his head on the truck. He jumped in the back of the truck and Jackie headed for home. After they got home C.J. stayed laying in the back of the truck like he had been shot. Breathing as shallow as he could. Finally, he took to a deep breath and Becky screamed he's alive. C.J. then jumped up and screaming like a banchi. While C.J. was playing dead, He and Jackie had forgot about Kevin. So, Kevin had walked all the way home that night looking like a ghost on a dirt road. Good times and memories these were for his brothers.

Kevin was educated in the small town of Collinsville Tx, later on he went back to school to get his G.E.D. As his young family grew being the father of the home went back to school to try and further his career. Kevin attended Lincoln Tech in Grand Prairie Tx, to become an auto mechanic and follow in his father's footsteps. The family funds had become too restrained, so he had to let go of that dream. He went back to work so he could immediately provide for his family. Working at such jobs as hay bailing, Permanent Way a concrete tie company managed by his brother C.J. in Collinsville Tx. Ruiz Foods in Denison Tx for 9 years, Walmart, and other various other small jobs he could find. Upon his passing he worked with his son and niece for Tyson Foods in Sherman Tx. Kevin worked hard his whole life to provide a home and family. He would give the shirt of his back to anyone that needed it more than him.

Kevin was a devoted and loving father to Justin Stapleton, Camia Stapleton, Matthew Wheeler, Kimberly Wheeler and their spouses who dearly miss him and the life lessons he imparted upon them. Among them was how to love a family unconditionally, He always showed the importance of hard work. Kevin showed everyone in his life, how to appreciate and have fun with the little thing's life has to hold.

Kevin and his wife Angela took great pride in being parents, especially how Justin would gather the family together to do different activities like board games, cleaning the house, working on family cars & some nights just to chill and gaze at the stars on the family trampoline. You could often hear him brag about Camia's love and Creativeness with abstract art and how she had that "keeping the family strong" mentality. How Kevin would laugh when little Matt marched in the marching band with his big baritone. He loved watching his son grow into a man and loved the many talks they would have over consol games like Skyrim. Kevin adored his youngest Kimi, running around with her frilly princess dresses when she was a toddler. He adored how she grew into a beautiful independent lady any father would be proud of, often stalking her Facebook profile looking for her creative quirky Manga personality. He loved them all so much and once they grew into adults and had families, he spent a majority of his free time with the grandkids Michael and his love for anything on wheels. Serenity and her countless creative moments such as drawing and singing karaoke. Devin and how they would play "here come the bugs" tickles with so much laughter. He would brag how Devin loves to learn new things & music

Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents Guilford Lee Wheeler and Lois Wheeler, Jack Morrow and Ella Mae Morrow. Kevin was survived by his wife Angela Muhle, his Father Charles Wheeler Sr. His mother Harriet Morrow and mother-in-law Verna Jordan. His brothers C.J., Bobby Dale and Jackie Wheeler and their wives. His Children and grandchildren Michael, Serenity, Devin, & his step grandchild Jayden Knutson. His 10 Nieces and nephews along with their Families. Kevin was also survived by so many more family and friends who he loved dearly but are too numerous to mention all in one day.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel 604 W. Main Street in Denison TX. Public Viewing will be held one hour prior of service. Following the services will be a 45-minute Funeral procession to the graveside services in Collinsville TX. Joyce Ann (Neal) Coleman, 78, of Denison, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Joyce will be remembered for her radiant smile, kind spirit, and the gentle warmth she brought to everyone around her.

Born on October 23, 1947, in Muncie, Indiana, Joyce was the daughter of Max and Elenor Fae Neal. She spent her early years in Indiana surrounded by family, including her sisters Beverly Kirvensky, Tamera Hensley and brother Ray O’Neal. From a young age, Joyce showed an incredible strength and nurturing heart that would define her throughout her life.

In 1968, she made a bold move from Indiana to Anaheim, California, determined to build a better life for herself and her two young sons, Dallas and Derrick. The move also brought her closer to her older sister Beverly, whose presence offered comfort and companionship during that time. It was in Anaheim that Joyce met David Graham at work. They married and in 1972 welcomed their daughter, Angela. When David returned from service in Vietnam, the two parted ways amicably but always remained committed to raising their children with love and understanding.

By 1976, as a single mother of three, Joyce met her best friend and the love of her life, Douglas D. Coleman. The two married in the early 1980s, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with laughter, hard work, and mutual devotion. When Doug’s career with Kwikset led to a managerial promotion, they relocated to Denison, Texas, in 1987, a move that marked the beginning of their next great adventure together.

In 1994, Joyce and Doug combined their shared passion for collecting and opened Box Seat Sport Cards on Main Street in Denison, which they joyfully operated until 2017. Joyce loved collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia, while Doug was an avid sports card enthusiast. Their business became more than just a store—it was a gathering place where friendships were built and stories shared.

After Doug’s passing in 2022, Joyce continued to find joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren, cherishing every moment of family closeness. Her gentle humor, peaceful disposition, and loving heart remained constant sources of comfort to those who knew her best.

Joyce was known for her compassion and her ability to make everyone feel welcome. She adored her dogs, spent happy hours at Choctaw playing slot machines, and always found time for her loved ones. She lived her life with kindness, patience, and an open heart, never passing judgment and always offering understanding. Those who knew Joyce remember her smile as one that could light up a room.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Max and Elenor Neal; her sister, Beverly Kirvensky; and her beloved husband, Douglas D. Coleman. She is survived by her sister Tamera Hensley and brother, Ray O’Neal; her children, Dallas Bullard of Fontana California Derrick Bullard and Angela Graham Stange of Denison and her cherished grandchildren, who were her greatest joy.

A memorial service celebrating Joyce’s life will be held at Fairview Cemetery Chapel on February 7, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
