Quick mental health tip:

If scrolling leaves you feeling tense, anxious, or overwhelmed…your brain probably just needs less input—not more.

Try replacing doomscrolling with:
☀️ fresh air
🎵 music
🚶 movement
💬 connection & conversation

Small resets > endless scrolling.

What’s one thing you’re choosing instead today?

‼️DID YOU KNOW‼️

Stress is NOT your problem. It’s what happens when your nervous system stays stuck in it.

One of the simplest tools I teach clients is using a “stress scale.” Instead of waiting until you’re overwhelmed, you start noticing where you are in the moment:

5 – Complete shut down
4 – Pretty stressed
3 – Kind of stressed
2 – Slightly stressed
1 – Not stressed at all

The goal isn’t to never drop down to a 4 or 5. It’s to catch yourself wherever you’re at and respond BEFORE your body tips into overdrive or collapse. Or when you do find yourself in 4 or 5, to recognize it and work your way back up the scale into 1!

Because you can train your nervous system. You can learn to shift out of survival mode more quickly. Over time, that’s how we rewire stress patterns—not by avoiding stress, but by working WITH your body instead of against it.

If you pause right now… where are you on the scale?

And if you’re realizing you live at a 3 or 4 more often than you’d like, therapy can help you build the tools to come back to steady. I offer a free 15-minute consultation if you’d like to talk through what that could look like for you 🤍

✨Gentle reminder of the day: You don’t have to wait until things fall apart to start therapy. ✨

You can start because:
• You’re tired of overthinking everything
• You feel disconnected in your relationships
• You’re functioning…but not thriving
• You want to grow, not just cope

Therapy isn’t just crisis care. It’s preventative care for your emotional health. Just like lifting weights builds muscle before you need it, therapy helps strengthen your mind before life tests it.

Whether it’s practicing healthier responses, increasing emotional endurance, or strengthening coping skills; therapy helps build mental strength before crisis hits.

So when life hits hard—and it will— you’re not scrambling… You’re prepared.

If you’re ready to get proactive about your mental health, reach out🤍

Mindfulness check-in for today:

What’s been hardest for you lately?

1️⃣ Speaking up for yourself
2️⃣ Letting things go
3️⃣ Managing stress or feeling overwhelmed
4️⃣ Navigating relationship tension

You can comment a number, share more if you’d like, or simply take a quiet moment to reflect. There’s no judgment here—just curiosity and compassion.

Therapy can help you build confidence, gain clarity, and develop practical tools for navigating everyday life and relationships. If these areas keep showing up and you’re ready to work on them more intentionally, you’re welcome to reach out anytime 🤍

Do you ever feel like you and your partner have the same fights over and over? I often work with couples who care deeply about their relationship, yet feel stuck in familiar patterns—repeating the same arguments, misreading each other’s intentions, or watching small issues slowly turn into bigger ones.

Couples therapy isn’t about deciding who’s right or wrong. It’s about slowing things down, understanding what’s really happening beneath the surface, and learning how to work together again.

In my work with couples I use solution and habit-based approaches to help identify patterns that keep relationships stuck, and then gently shift them in ways that actually translate into everyday life. We focus on practical tools, clearer communication, and solutions that feel supportive and fair for both partners. My goal is not to take sides, but to help couples find common ground, build healthier habits, and create compromises where each person feels heard, respected, and valued.

If you're tired of feeling "stuck", misunderstood, or simply out of step when it comes to your relationship, feel free to reach out and see how couples counseling might benefit you!

Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m Whitney Savage, M.A., a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, supervised by William Mory, M.A., Ed.S, LMFT-S, LPC, and I work with individuals, couples, and families who are ready to do the brave (and sometimes messy) work of growth. I believe meaningful change doesn’t happen overnight, but through small, intentional shifts that build over time. My work is grounded in habit-based approaches that help clients create sustainable change in everyday life. I’m excited to walk alongside you as you work toward a version of yourself—and your relationships—that feels more aligned, grounded, and whole.

Therapy takes courage, curiosity, and a willingness to show up for yourself, even when it feels uncomfortable. If you’re feeling ready (or even just curious) I’d be happy to connect. Reach out to schedule a free 15-minute consultation!
