Experiencing pain in the forefoot due to pressure on the metatarsal phalangeal joints can be highly discomforting. To alleviate this pain, I am affixing foam pads to the underside of a patient's shoe insert. This video aims to demonstrate this technique for patients who require a quick reminder on how to perform it at home. It is worth noting that contact cement is not necessary for most pads, but in this particular case, I am using it due to the unusual surface I am trying to adhere to.
