Today, we learned that our Executive Chef, Larry Atwater, was selected for the Inaugural Class of Dining Innovation Awards.

Multiple families wrote letter of recommendation, multiple colleagues wrote letters of recommendation, so many in fact we couldn’t submit them all per contest rules.

When I started Sage Oak, I wanted to be different, and when we opened Sage Oak Denton, we wanted to put Denton on the map for excellence in assisted living and dementia care.

Larry was hired before Sage Oak Denton was open and his contribution to excellence and innovation is now official with this honor from Senior Housing News.

Congrats to Larry, congrats to Sage Oak family, congrats to Denton, and congrats to the other inaugural winners.
