Welcome, Gemini Season! The sun is in the zodiac sign of Gemini for the next four weeks, making this an excellent time to learn something new, have great conversations, and in other ways expand your horizons. A mutable air sign, Gemini is all about information, learning, language, and multi-tasking. Gemini provokes our curiosity and invites us to become more tolerant of differences, embrace paradox, and use language for healing. Things to do during Gemini season: Try something new. (No! Try two new things! Or maybe three!) Read a few books. Mindfully multitask. Reconnect with an old friend and make a new friend. Ground yourself and make good decisions. Be a bridge! Learn a new skill. Sign up for Bloom Yoga’s certified yoga teacher training. Try a new yoga pose-- maybe an arm balance because Gemini is associated with the arms and shoulders! Practice Pranayama (breath work) to calm the nervous system. Breathe mindfully and slowly. (Mindful breathing is extremely helpful, allowing us to honor Gemini’s energy without becoming overly distracted.)
