Our Fall Country Music & Casino Night was truly a fan favorite, as we've heard from so many who’ve been with us through the years.

Because of your generosity, we raised $79,318 during the event! As we close out the event this month, we would love to round that number out to $100,000: fully funding the programs, housing, and community that make this work possible for the single mothers and children we serve.

Our volunteers are the hands and feet of the work we’ve been called to here at Blue Haven Ranch. Their role in coming alongside our mission to provide community, growth, and healing for single moms and their children is at the core of all we are able to do here.

As our community grows, it has been the biggest blessing to watch what our incredible volunteers are bringing to the table and how God is using it all to create security, growth, and a future for our moms!

What a joy to celebrate with a baby shower for this sweet mama who is welcoming her baby at the beginning of November! Would you join us in praying for her and baby during these last few weeks of her pregnancy?

As we wrap up the summer and begin our transition into fall, we can’t help but pause and reflect on the generosity of the Lord on us these past few months. To be able to be a safe space for mothers and their children to play, learn, heal, and find community is a gift we will never tire of extending.

We are excited to share an important staff update with you.

After faithfully serving as our Operations Director for the past two and a half years, Trisha McWilliams is transitioning out of her staff role. She shares:

“It has been my absolute joy and honor to serve as the Operations Director for two and a half years. In my time at BHR, I have been blessed beyond measure to see the MIGHTY work of the Holy Spirit changing lives. This not only includes the 13 moms and 37 children that were in the program during my tenure, but also includes the impact that the BHR community has within the lives of the staff and volunteers. I have been a witness to the profound changes that occur within the entire BHR community. God is moving in BIG ways! As the Lord is calling me into a new season, I will still be involved with BHR, but in a volunteer capacity moving forward.”

We are deeply grateful for the passion, faith and dedication Trisha has poured into Blue Haven Ranch. Her leadership and love have left a lasting impact, and we are thankful she will continue to serve as a volunteer.

At the same time, we are thrilled to welcome Rebekah Kucera as our new Operations Director! She shares:

“I am so excited to step into this role at BHR! My hope is to continue building the organizational structure Trisha has created and develop long-lasting relationships within our community to love and support our precious Moms. The BHR team has such a huge passion to fulfill the mission, and I am honored to be a part of it!”

We are confident that God will use Rebekah in powerful ways as we serve single moms and their children together.

We’re still thinking about this moment where their lives all changed forever.

This mama recently joined the Blue Haven Ranch community, and now for the first time in her life, she has a home of her own to raise her sons and baby.

Making it possible for single moms in the DFW area to have a safe place to raise their children is Kingdom work, and we will never get over the gift that it is to be a part of it.
