At Blue Haven Ranch, we know lasting change doesn’t happen overnight. The women who come through our program take brave, steady steps toward a different future for themselves and their children, and we are committed to walking with them through every high and low along the way.

Growth is rarely linear, but genuine love, truth, and support change people over time. Our prayer is that every woman here experiences all three with complete certainty.

It is an honor to witness their growth, remind them of their identity, and see God’s faithfulness unfold in their lives. 💙

It was an honor to be Flower Mound City Lifestyle Magazine’s Non-Profit of the Month. We are thrilled to get to tell our story to a wider audience, in the hope that it inspires others to step into the spaces where the marginalized are often forgotten and work towards real change.

We hope and pray that our story becomes just one of many working towards a different future for single pregnant mothers.

For us, it didn’t start with an acreage and farm animals, but rather with a single mom who lived across the street and an open door to welcome her and her family in.

We can easily forget that, before politics and non-profits, there are neighbors or co-workers right there, hoping for a way through what feels like an impossible situation.

Sometimes it is the simplest acts that spark the greatest hope, and we each have the opportunity to start where we are today, with simple obedience. How about you? Who can you invite to your table?

It really can start with something that simple.

Springtime around the farm means the hope of new things to come!

The garden has been planted, the animals are grazing, and the kids are exploring it all. Often, it is the simplest realities of farm life that are healing for both the families in our program and those that come to the farm to volunteer.

We are grateful for the daily joys of what we get to do here at Blue Haven Ranch! 🌱🪏🌼🍓

On a cold and windy day in February of 2020, I (Aubrey) was driving home from the store with my two small boys in the backseat. We were heading down a rural road near our home when we passed a ranch that had been sitting for sale for quite some time.

In that moment, I felt the Lord place a very specific vision on my heart.

What if there was a place where single pregnant mothers with children could actually live — not just receive temporary help — but have the time, space, and support to rebuild their lives?

That question became the beginning of Blue Haven Ranch.

At the time, we had no land, no program, and no roadmap, just a sense that God was asking us to start.

Since then, Bryan, myself, and an incredible community of staff and volunteers have watched the Lord grow this work step by step. What began in our original home has now served 14+ mother-led families, walking alongside women during pregnancy and early motherhood while helping provide stability, counseling support, transportation, and community.

We sold our house and moved onto land with acreage, allowing us to begin implementing more seriously our farm therapy pillar of the vision.

We’re still building what this will become, but every family we’ve walked with so far reminds us why this vision matters.

From the beginning, we’ve been committed to rooting our program in farm therapy because of the profound impact it can have on both the body and the brain.

Research like this only deepens our conviction that these hands-on experiences matter. Caring for animals, tending a garden, and working outdoors creates meaningful opportunities for healing in ways that words alone often cannot.

For families who have walked through trauma, a therapeutic environment like this can foster steadiness, growth, and a renewed sense of hope.
