For many of us, the idea of having someone to check on you in a time of need, to help carry the load in a season with little ones, or even to simply ask how your week is going, seems natural and expected.
However, we’ve seen time and time again that those markers of “supportive community” are completely foreign to the moms that come through our doors. And if this is true for them, we know it’s true for the countless others single moms out there that we have yet to reach.
We are so grateful to our volunteers who are showing these women and their children that their lives matter to others, that the load is not theirs alone to carry, and that doing life in community is a beautiful gift.
Our goal is for each of our moms to experience the beauty of living in a truly supportive community.
