Woah!

Solution:
- Don’t use nitrous oxide
- Use Optimal Liposomal Glutathione pre and post
- Use Active B12 with L-5-MTHF Lozenge pre and post

Nitrous oxide, otherwise known as laughing gas, is a serious issue.

I’ve been consulted by doctors who have pediatric patients in a coma caused by nitrous oxide.

My kids have it in their dental chart - NO NITROUS OXIDE in big letters.

Do not use it.

Here are some other things you should know about nitrous oxide if you were already exposed or choosing to use it
- Measure homocysteine levels pre and post
- Measure B12 and folate levels before
- If homocysteine > 7 umol/L, don’t use nitrous oxide
- If MCV or MCH elevated, don’t use nitrous oxide
- If serum cobalamin below 750, don’t use nitrous

Make sure you use Optimal Liposomal Glutathione and Active B12 with L-5-MTHF Lozenge if you are going to use it and also take these again immediately after using it.

Yes, these both are safe during labor.

Use during pregnancy if exposed to nitrous oxide.

These are both available .health with Free shipping.

Have them on hand.

If you’re a dentist or surgeon or helping them in their office, you need to be taking these supplements very frequently as you are exposed to nitrous oxide all day long.

“PIC: Scrubbing for an unplanned c-section for a momma that had every intention to birth naturally, drug free. Reason: “failure to progress”

Here’s the thing, natural minded mommas:
I know you think that the hospital is the safest place to give birth. I know you think that the doctors are there to save you when something goes wrong. I know you believe that continuous fetal monitoring is a good thing, that pitocin is a good thing, that antibiotics are a good thing. I know you want to be in a hospital setting “just in case”. But what if I told you that kind of thinking is so backwards it’s not even funny?

What if I told you that homebirth isn’t only an option for low-risk moms, but it’s actually safer & has better outcomes? Lower c-section rates. Higher satisfaction rates. Lower maternal death rates. Lower infant death rates. Lower PPD rates. Higher breastfeeding rates.

What if I told you that going into labor on your own WILL happen & that going past your due date is actually normal & expected?

What if I told you that women all over the world birth big babies & having a c-section for a big baby isn’t indicated?

What if I told you that “failure to progress” is a made up term meaning “failure to wait”?

What if I told you that “failure to descend” is actually just a positioning problem, not a broken body problem.

What if I told you that all of that pitocin will lead to an epidural, which will lead to fetal distress, which will land you in the OR to have your baby saved from a problem that the system created?

I get that there are real emergencies that happen & that’s exactly what hospitals are for. But birth is not an emergency. Birth should not be treated as anything other than a normal physiological process.

It’s time we start taking birth into our own hands. It’s time we start leading the way back to better birth. Back to patient centered care. It’s time we get informed. It’s time we stop trusting the system & start trusting our own bodies. It’s time to change our mindset around childbirth & around pain.“ credit: allie woods

Elective induction around a holiday is for convenience, but not yours.

With Thanksgiving & Christmas coming up, loads of unnecessary inductions and c-sections are about to happen.

Every year there is a HUGE decrease in births on (and around)...

🔆 Christmas
🔆 New Year’s Eve/Day
🔆 Easter (changes yearly - first Sunday after the full moon in April)
🔆 Memorial Day (changes yearly - last Monday in May in the US)
🔆 Independence Day (4th of July in the US)
🔆 Thanksgiving (changes yearly - last Thursday in November)

And it’s not just the United States - it's everywhere.

How could it be that all of these holidays have lower birth rates year after year?

It’s not a coincidence - it’s about convenience.

And not YOUR convenience. The convenience of providers.

No one wants to work on holidays, and hospital birth providers have a way to make sure (for the most part) that they don’t have to.

Inductions & c-sections are rarely scheduled ON holidays, but they ARE frequently scheduled in the days leading up to, or just after, a holiday.

If you are due around a holiday, and your provider suggests an induction or c-section, it’s a good idea to question why (remember that you always have the right to decline). If there is NOT a legitimate medical reason, they may be more concerned with being home in time for a holiday dinner than your well being.

Wise women have been known to say…

“what gets the baby in gets the baby out”

…meaning that the same energy and environment of lo******ng is sometimes necessary for birth.

This is why women need dark to birth.
This is why women need quiet to birth.
This is why women need privacy to birth.
This is why women need to feel loved to birth.
This is why women need to feel safe to birth.
This is why women need a supportive partner to birth.
This is why women need free-flowing oxytocin to birth.

This photo captures it all.

OBs are surgeons first.

They don’t learn about physiological labor, and they’ve likely NEVER seen an undisturbed birth.

If you want a birth without continuous monitors, inductions, episiotomies, fundal massage, Pitocin, narcotics, and surgery, an OB is probably not the best provider for you.

So many women who want a physiological birth think they’ll be okay in the hospital, but end up with interventions and trauma just the same. OBs and L&D nurses are taught to actively manage their patients, meaning they want to DO things to you to force your labor along. They’re not good at standing back and just offering support when asked.

If you want a physiological birth, you have the best chance of success by sticking with homebirth midwives - providers who specialize in exactly that.
