We extended our lease to make time for the transition to the farm since my ankle has a severe sprain and I haven't been able to walk for over four weeks now!
So far, all of the donations are kept safely in a section of our business account specifically for the farm!
The current donations will cover some of our DIY biogas setup, which will power our cooking stoves for around 1-3 hours each day. This will provide regular off-grid power for our home cooking and any heat we need for herbal remedies as we transition to all renewable energy. Thank you all so much for the support!
We are also re-budgeting for our herbal free clinic that we've been running for about a year now. With the donations received and the new business from our Etsy shop (thank you, friends, for leaving reviews!!), we are reorienting financially to make sure the free clinic receives adequate resources and time while remaining sustainable.
Additional donations will help us afford more resources for the free clinic and will allow us to buy scythes and irrigation tools for our herb farm. See the original description for more information on funds usage!
Thank you so much for donating what you can, shopping our Etsy, following us on social media, and sharing this fundraiser with your friends!
We are so appreciative of the support and try our hardest to turn funds into abundant herbal formulas & education for our community! And, as always, we strive to regenerate native ecosystems and dedicate our power to global resistance movements.
In the meantime, we've cleaned out our trailer and are getting ready to replace the upholstery and paint the walls! We're working to get shelves and cabinets installed so we can still operate the apothecary from within our tiny home and have planted lots of vegetables and herbs at the local farm site!
At our current site, we've been harvesting yarrow, bee balm, jiaogulan, mint, oregano, sage, wild lettuce, and red clover to stock up...
