Since joining our team in March 2025, Veronica has made an incredible impact on both our residents and the therapy team. Her knowledge, professionalism, and thoroughness shine through in everything she does. But beyond her impressive skills, it’s her warm, genuine personality that makes her truly stand out. Veronica is someone you meet and instantly fall in love with. 💙

Veronica joined us at a crucial time and jumped right in with both feet. Her fresh, youthful perspective has brought new energy to our team, and we consistently hear glowing compliments from our residents' families. 🙌

🌟 Employee of the Month – August 2025 🌟

Congratulations to Brooke Armstrong, our Receptionist, for being named August Employee of the Month! 🎉

Brooke went above and beyond this past month, stepping in to assist both our Human Resources and Admissions Departments. She kept everything running smoothly, always willing to learn new things and lend a hand wherever needed.

Brooke has been part of the Denton Rehab family since 2017, first starting in the Dietary Department while still in high school. Over the years, she has shown incredible dedication, and we are so grateful for all she does for our residents, families, and team. 💙

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend, Rosemary Lawyer, our Controller and a vital part of Denton Rehab. Rosemary was more than a colleague, she was family to us.

Her services will be held Friday, August 15 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2509 Trophy Club Dr., Trophy Club, TX 76262. Viewing will begin at 10:00 AM, with the funeral service at 11:00 AM.

Rosemary was extremely smart, knowledgeable, and always knew where to find the answers. She had a love for rose gold, diamonds, and the lacy clothes she called “fun.” She often bragged about her children and grandchildren. While she loved her work, her greatest joy was being with her family—and she especially loved celebrating her grandchildren’s birthdays with a special lunch.

From Rosemary we learned: There are no secrets, Google knows everything, Sometimes it’s better to ask for forgiveness than permission, & If something doesn’t sound right, it just might not be right.

There is nothing that can replace her, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Denton Rehab will not be the same without her warmth, wisdom, humor, and sparkle.

Patricia started with Denton Rehab as an LVN since March 2024. She is known for her warm smile and friendly nature, always saying hello to everyone she passes. Patricia is deeply involved with our residents and brings a calm, caring presence that families and residents truly appreciate.

We’re a little late in posting, but it’s never too late to celebrate someone as deserving as Leticia White, our May 2025 Employee of the Month!

Leticia joined Denton Rehab in December 2024 as an Assistant Cook, and in just a few months, she’s become a favorite among residents and staff. She’s especially known for providing a refreshing infused water or juice each day, something both residents and visitors look forward to.

We may be a little late with this post, but some things are worth the wait and Crystal Taylor, our April 2025 Employee of the Month, is absolutely one of them!

As an LVN who joined us in 2024, Crystal has quickly become an essential part of our team. Known for her strong work ethic, team spirit, and compassionate care, she consistently goes above and beyond for both residents and coworkers. She’s a true resident advocate and a shining example of what great nursing looks like.
