Y'all, I just got my butt kicked by Alexis yesterday and I feel like a new person! He's the most polite steamroller-of-a-massage-therapist that you will ever meet, and my hips feel TONS better after that session with him. Whew!

He's available to see you (call us at 940 241 4490 to book!) but in the meantime, I wanted to share this video with you for a little DIY self care while you're seated at your desk.

All you need is a tennis ball and a hard(ish) surface to sit on. The pressure from this tennis ball combined with your body weight kind of mimics the direct pressure of Alexis's elbow in your glutes. (You'll thank me -- or Alexis -- later!)

Give it a try. It only takes a minute and should help your sciatica and tight piriformis loosen up a bit. And if you need more professional help, book with any one of our amazing massage therapists. We're open 7 days a week and ALL of us have elbows (not just Alexis) who can open up those stubborn hips!

SNAP benefits have been disrupted for tens of thousands of our neighbors here in North Texas. That's why we here at Soma Massage Therapy have focused our "Massage for a Cause" program on collecting non perishable food items for the Denton Community Food Center until further notice.

You can bring your donations to our downtown location at 531 N Elm St, Denton. You do not need to have an appointment or be a current client here in order to contribute! Our parking is easy, we are centrally located to just about any errand you have to run, and we're open 7 days a week from 8a-8p. Stop by, drop off your items, and know that you are helping our neighbors in need!
