We’re thrilled to announce that earlier this month Chef Ignacio “Nach” Jacobo, Director of Dining Services at Village on the Park Denton, was promoted to Senior Director of Dining Services for The Aspenwood Company!

In his new role, Chef Nach will mentor and support dining teams across the Dallas–Fort Worth area—continuing to raise the bar on culinary excellence, service innovation, and personalized, resident-centered dining.

Earlier this year, Chef Nach was also nationally recognized as an inaugural recipient of the DISHED Senior Living Dining Innovation Award, in the Culinary Canvas category. His award-winning approach blends dignity, culture, and connection, transforming mealtimes into meaningful experiences for residents and families.

From table-side digital ordering to custom birthday meals and interactive cooking demos, Chef Nach has redefined what dining in senior living can look like—and now his mentorship will help bring that vision to even more communities.
