This position is a 2 1/2 year Licensed Professional Counselor Associate internship in Christian Counseling. It is a contracted position that allows counselors to set their own schedules while obtaining their 3000 hours for licensure. All sessions will be held in office to allow counselor associates the best training experience. Onsite supervision is required and provided by Heather N. Smith, M.Ed., LPCS. Please note that 1099’s are sent out at the end of each year for tax purposes.

LPC Associates are responsible for:

Counseling between 15 and 30 clients a week
Scheduling and rescheduling clients
Keeping up to date client notes and files
Completing one hour of individual supervision and one and a half hour group supervision a week
completing developmental growth assignments when applicable
The ideal candidate is someone who is self motivated and capable of completing tasks on time with little day to day supervision.

Please provide a cover letter that includes your clinical approach to counseling, the population you most want to work with and why, and a little about your desire to use God‘s Word and love to aid your clients in healing.
