To all of our patients, this is Keshia’s daughter and she needs our help. Some of you have been so kind and giving already and we truly appreciate it. No one ever wants to pass on bad news but we need to share this with our patients and the Denton community. The 3 year old daughter of our certified medical assistant, Keisha Hudson, has brain cancer. Keshia and her family will need all of our prayers and support in the days ahead. We are devastated as the doctors say that little Lilah will eventually succumb to this terrible cancer. Our hearts are broken and tears have been shed but now we are ready to help little Lilah in her fight! Please follow Strong for Lilah. We will post regularly to keep everyone updated on Lilah’s journey. We will also post donation information and fundraising events. Again, remember to like and follow Strong for Lilah; tell your friends and have them follow as well. Lilah, Liam, Keshia and Robert we love you guys!

Nurse practitioner, Shantelle Lawler formally of Denton Family Care Center will be joining Your Healthcare Place in January. For the past 11 years, Shantelle has worked as a nurse practitioner here in Denton. Her medical experience is deeply rooted in the holistic care of individuals and families as well as pediatrics.
