University Behavioral Health of Denton is a private freestanding psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and chemical dependency care. Serving north Texas and surrounding areas since 2005, we provide a wide range of services and programs that offer evidence-based treatment proven to have positive outcomes for our patients. Our inpatient and day hospital, or outpatient, services offer supportive and compassionate care for adolescents, adults, mature adults, active duty service members, veterans and their families through specialty programs that are tailored to meet the needs of our patients. We stopped by the beautiful new Tuskegee Airmen State Veterans Home in Denton to thank Elisha Kelby, Director of Nursing, for a recent referral and admit. We brought along some sweet treats to help show our appreciation! 🍪

Elisha was kind enough to give us a tour of their gorgeous facility, and it’s truly a wonderful place dedicated to serving our veterans. 🇺🇸

We’re so excited about this growing partnership and the opportunity to serve even more veterans together!

Elisha also collaborates with Clyde Cosper State Veterans Home in Bonham and Watkins-Logan Texas State Veterans Home in Tyler, continuing her amazing work supporting those who served.

This past weekend, we were proud to host a Community Brunch focused on aging and dementia awareness. We were honored to welcome Dr. Bret Bentz, who shared valuable insights on the challenges and care needs surrounding aging and dementia. His talk sparked meaningful conversations and highlighted ways we can better support our senior population.
