Incorporating retinol into your regimen can be a game changer when it comes to anti-aging and skin rejuvenation. Using retinol correctly will make the world of difference. If you are new to retinol/retinoids follow these 4 simple steps to achieve the best outcome when introducing for the first time.

1. Start off using once or twice a week in the evenings. This will allow your skin to get acclimated to this new step.
2. Start off with a low strength and build your way up once you've used it for a while. Stronger does not always mean better.
3. Avoid combining other active ingredients like aha/bhas. This will avoid any irritation that could arise.
4. Applying a hydrating serum like Hydrinity Restorative Serum or Epicutis Lipid Serum before retinol will help hydrate the skin prior to application. Then follow up with a moisturizer to seal it in.
