Nature decided to crown one of our residents today! 🦋👑
​It was a beautiful day for the Lake Forest Village crew at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and the Butterfly Conservatory. While the flowers were stunning, the highlight was definitely when one extra-friendly butterfly decided a resident’s head was the perfect place to perch.
​Talk about a "head-turning" moment! We had such a wonderful time soaking up the sun and the scenery together.

This week’s focus is on understanding hand conditions and supporting recovery every step of the way. 🖐️

Education was led by our Director of Rehabilitation, Stephi Hodge, who also demonstrated how to use a dynamometer to measure hand strength and track progress. Exercises were guided by Physical Therapist Jason Abney to help improve strength and mobility.

To round it out, our dietary team kept everyone refreshed with a hydration station and fresh fruit—because wellness is a full-body journey! 💧🍎

☕ Coffee Social & Jeopardy at Lake Forest Village 🎉
This morning, we had a wonderful time kicking off the day with our Coffee Social & Jeopardy Game! Residents enjoyed a fun and engaging game hosted by Collette from Heaven at Home, filled with laughter, friendly competition, and great energy all around.
Collette also treated everyone to a delicious breakfast sweet, making the morning even more enjoyable. Whether playing along or cheering from the sidelines, everyone had a fantastic time coming together for coffee, conversation, and fun.
