🍻 **Lake Forest Village Men’s Social – Appetizers & Ale** 🍻

This afternoon we hosted our quarterly Men’s Social, and it was a great time! With a fun **Appetizers & Ale** theme, residents enjoyed good food, great conversation, and plenty of laughs.

The afternoon kicked off with an ice-breaker to get everyone mingling, followed by some friendly trivia competition that kept spirits high and minds sharp. Events like these are a wonderful way to build camaraderie and create meaningful connections within our community.

Thanks to everyone who joined us—we’re already looking forward to the next one!

Sometimes when a person comes to live in long-term care, they have to leave behind a beloved pet. This is heartbreaking for them along with all the other losses that they suffer. Today at Denton village we had a wonderful time introducing our long-term care residents to the opportunity to adopt a robotic pet. This came after a two year grant application through a wonderful company called “ Ageless Innovations Joy for all Companion Pets”. There were tears, smiles and laughter as the residents decided if they would like a cat or dog, what they would name them and how they would take care of them. There was indeed “joy for all”!

We are starting 🎉2026 🎉out right. We got invited to give a presentation to an Independent living community, about our beautiful twin homes, cottages and last but not least our AMAZING
skilled nursing at both Lake Forest and Denton Villiage campuses. It’s ALWAYS a joy to serve our ❤️seniors❤️ .. Lots of laughter 😆 and Ice cream sandwiches for the win 🏅

Our residents dimmed the lights, blew their horns, and rang in the New Year with joy and excitement! 🥳 What a magical moment to welcome 2026 together.

Our New Year’s Eve celebration was filled with delicious food, cheerful company, and festive background music that set the perfect tone for the evening. The dinner was absolutely outstanding—a huge thank you to everyone who prepared and served such a wonderful meal!
