Our Story
We are all about organic methods of living to recover and optimize your health and that of the environment in which we all live. We do it all. Classes in Permaculture and Permaculture Design, gardening, fermentation, supporting the body in healing, personal fitness, cooking, baking, restoring the ecosystem to balance...
Nichole is a personal chef and teaches cooking and fermentation. Richard is an expert in functional medicine, teacher of health and health recovery via food and works in many different areas of the metroplex. He’s an expert carpenter, having had a 10 year construction business in Dallas and East Texas. He is also an arborist, having worked in that field for many years.
This page discusses aspects of permaculture, gardening, living a fully organic life, and brings to awareness things that affect the environment and the longevity of this beautiful planet. We occasionally hold tours, classes, and courses, often utilizing our strong network of experienced, trained, and certified Permaculture teachers. We also highlight Denton-interest stories and events. We rarely discuss farming. If you are looking for farming advice, we suggest joining North Texas Permaculture and Sustainability Guild.
We live our lives in line with the three ethics of Permaculture and sometimes that means posting something political. Earth Care, People Care, Future Care. We think everything must be viewed through these three ethics. We are not Republicans, nor are we Democrats, nor Libertarians, nor Green Party. We have no party affiliation. However we do talk about injustices.
We homeschool our daughter, grow food, cook food, and wish there were more organic restaurants in Denton. Together, we bring a huge toolset. We are open for questions and help people connect to who they need, whether or not the person needs someone inside or outside of our organization. We work with many Permaculture designers and Sustainability-minded landscapers.
We are currently (7/12/2019) discussing when to hold our next PDC (Permaculture Design Certification) course.
If you follow along, please join in the conversation. If you want to know something or want to learn how to do something, let us know and we’ll do our best to design a class around your needs.
Getting rich from PermacultureDenton is not our goal, so we don’t concern ourselves with the numbers of followers we have. We trust you to get the information you need from where you need it. The internet is a massive place. Go explore! Share what you find. Thank you for reading.
