Living Well Senior Care is celebrating 10 years with our beloved Barb Koss!

If you’ve ever called our office, there’s a very good chance you’ve spoken with Barb. Over the past decade, Barb has worn many hats and provided invaluable support. She has worked any shift—day or night—often stepping in at a moment’s notice. Barb has supervised our caregivers, taken calls at all hours, and even played the role of IT support, assisting countless clients and families with technology issues over the phone.

Her commitment to excellence shows in her continued education—she has completed beyond the required number of online trainings three years in a row. All the while, Barb made regular trips to Tennessee to help her mother care for her father with dementia.

Earlier this year, Barb relocated to Tennessee full-time to care for her mom, yet she continues to work remotely as our reliable voice on the phone, assisting caregivers and families day or night.

Living Well is truly blessed by her dedication and service. Thank you, Barb, for all that you do!

Earlier today, we had the privilege of celebrating with some of our wonderful caregivers who represent the heart of what we do here at Living Well Senior Care. We truly believe our caregivers are the best of the best, and we are so proud and thankful for the “Best of Denton” recognition for the 7th year in a row. This distinction certainly would not be possible without the kindness, compassion and care that they show each and every day. We are so thankful for each and every one of you!

We are excited to welcome Shelby Bauman as the new Community Liaison for Living Well Senior Care!

A true local, Shelby grew up in Corinth and Copper Canyon, graduated from Denton ISD schools, taught in both Lewisville and Denton ISD, and now lives in Argyle with her family. She brings over 11 years of experience in public education and has dedicated her career to building meaningful relationships and supporting families, a commitment she will carry forward at Living Well.

In her role as Community Liaison, Shelby will focus on strengthening partnerships, sharing resources, and helping families connect with the support they need. She is passionate about serving others and looks forward to representing Living Well Senior Care in the community.

Outside of work, Shelby enjoys keeping up with her husband and their two young sons, cheering them on in sports, reading, needlepoint, and spending time with family and friends.
