Our goal is to provide a caring, homelike environment where residents, families, and employees are loved. We view this community as the residents' home and we make every effort to provide as many choices as possible in activities, schedules, and dining options to make it comfortable for them. We welcome family and friends with a number of social areas to visit and events families and friends may participate in. Families and friends are encouraged to visit as often as they want for as long as they want. Location

As part of our celebration of the second day of Skilled Nursing Home Week, a Nacho Bar was organized in appreciation of our staff. The event also included an opportunity for staff members to dress up as their favorite superheroes. We recognize that their contributions to the healthcare field inherently makes them superheroes, rendering costumes optional.

Today I’m sharing that I will be stepping down as Administrator of Shinnery Oaks Community. It’s a difficult decision, but one made with tremendous pride in the progress and achievements this team has delivered over the past four years.

My heart is with our residents, their families, our dedicated staff, and the community that has supported us every step of the way. Leading this facility has been an honor, and the relationships built here will stay with me always.

I’m confident the next Administrator will be welcomed with the same support I received and that Shinnery Oaks will continue to set the bar for excellence in West Texas.
