This is what happens when every detail matters...

My wonderful patient came from Santa Barbara, CA for comprehensive facial rejuvenation with me. Here she is almost 2 months out from extended deep plane facelift, necklift, browlift, upper and lower blepharoplasty and full face fat transfer. No makeup, no filters.

Leading up to surgery she also got her skin right at with a full face/neck CO2 laser, skin treatments and pre op IV. She returned to Tone for her post op treatments the week after and will fly back to Denver in a few weeks for lymphatic drainage and follow up.

Results like these are not by accident. Only meticulous planning and ex*****on can get us here.

First homerun of 2026 👃🏼...

Been a minute since I posted an on the table result, but love these shapes. Feminine, elegant, and curvy.

Important to remember my noses derotate (tip comes down) 5-7 degrees in the first 3 months, and then they don't go anywhere. Super excited for my patient and grateful she allowed me to share.

6 months out from Rhinoplasty with revision nostril narrowing...

This is one of my very first patients who has been following from the beginning. She wanted a higher bridge and more projection + definition in her tip. can be challenging because there is not as much septal cartilage for structure and grafting.

I harvested her right seventh rib and made a SPLF graft to raise the bridge and give her the projection she was looking for.

She sent me these photos this week. I love these shapes.

She is just GLOWING.

Stunning. Almost a year and a half out from deep plane facelift, necklift, lip lift, and 6 weeks out from endoscopic browlift with upper blepharoplasty with a sprinkle of fat transfer in the lips.

Every subunit, every detail sculpted and worried over. Still with some redness along the blepharoplasty incision that will fade and become invisible with time, but so happy with how rejuvenated and confident my patient looks.

And just in time for Thanksgiving :)

I don't think the three-quarter view is talked about enough in rhinoplasty...

Most rhinoplasty surgeons consider the profile view the most important angle, and all agree the frontal view is most difficult to get right. But not a lot of love for the three-quarter view, which is the view at the midpoint between profile and frontal.

I believe this the most important view. In fact, I base my nasal aesthetic on it.

Rarely in human interaction is the other person straight in front of us. And almost never do we interact with someone 90 degrees from our field of view (a strict profile view). Often we are at least slightly off-center, particularly in a group setting.

Nothing against profile or frontal views - we should strive for great results from all angles - but I believe an excellent three-quarter view result has the greatest impact on attractiveness and confidence, which is why I prize this angle so fiercely.

She's three months out, still with swelling on the sides od the bridge and around the tip, but already such a gorgeous shape. Huge thanks to my patient for allowing me to share her results.

The sneakiest glow up in plastic surgery...

My beautiful patient came from Texas for a Browlift and Rhinoplasty combo case. Still early days, but this is probably my favorite combination of procedures for patients who don't require more involved surgical procedures (deep plane facelifting, deep neck lifts, etc).

A crisis of symmetry...

This patient came to me hoping for a straighter, more refined and defined nose.

He had asymmetry of all three levels of the nose -- the nasal bones, the midvault, and his tip worst of all, with twisted tip cartilages and flared nostrils that inserted on his face at different heights.

Now six months out we see significant improvements in symmetry. He is straightER, MORE symmetric. And while everything has improved, if we got out our protractors and measured all the angles we would find some small asymmetries remain.

Rhinoplasty surgeons perseverate on the tiny details, the imperfections in our work, the residual asymmetries. So much has to go right to get this level of improvement - not least of which is luck.

My patient's goal was improvement in symmetry and harmony for his face, and he absolutely got it.
