We don’t want to talk poorly or bash hospitals. They save lives every day and are the safest and best choice for some birthing couples, especially higher-risk pregnancies.

Birth centers, like ours, specialize in low-risk pregnancies and less intervention.

Even though our approaches may look different, our goal is always the same:
A healthy baby, parent, and a birth experience that feels supported, safe, and empowering.

There’s room for all models of care, and we’re grateful to offer families a choice.

This weekend we said goodbye to our wonderful Lisa and her fabulous family.

Lisa joined then Hygee as a nurse and we had the opportunity to see her grow as an amazing midwife and then a mom herself!

We love you Lisa and can’t wait to see what you will do in Washington!
