We can’t stop thinking about all the fun we had celebrating Caregiver Month last month! 💕 Our Home Care and Hospice teams set up a Hydration Station at The Bridge at Greeley and The Center at CenterPlace as a little way to say “thank you” to the outstanding caregivers for all the love and energy they pour into others every day!

💡 Did you know many patients spend time in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) before transitioning to hospice care? SNFs provide rehabilitation and medical support, while hospice focuses on comfort and quality of life, working hand in hand to support patients and families. SNFs can serve as a stepping stone, providing necessary medical and rehabilitative care before end-of-life services.

Celebrating National Assisted Living Week! ✨🤝💙

Our teams from Optimal Home Care & Hospice had the joy of honoring the incredible staff and residents who make assisted living communities so special. We enjoyed a staff BBQ at Cherry Creek Retirement Village, shared root beer floats at Melody Living in Colorado Springs, and connected with The Ridge at Pinehurst. We’re thankful for our amazing partners in care, who make every day brighter for the residents we serve!

At Optimal, we believe in whole-person care, and that includes the importance of quality sleep. Vid Francis, a Physical Therapist, shares 5 things you may not know about sleep.

A self-proclaimed “body nerd,” Vid is passionate about educating patients on the role of rest in physical and cognitive recovery. With a deep interest in sleep science, he believes optimizing rest can significantly improve both health outcomes and quality of life. He believes sleep is one of the most powerful and least understood tools for healing the body and mind. At home, Vid stays busy as a new dad to two little ones and enjoys painting, watching hockey, and hosting board game nights with friends.
