Allow me to help you learn about Amino Acid and Nutrient Therapy for Addiction Recovery and Mental Health! Our brain is our master control panel. All of our thoughts, feelings, perceptions, beliefs, and ability to learn and utilize recovery skills are mediated through our brain, and specifically through chemical messengers called neurotransmitters

When they are in balance and functioning optimally, we are able, as human beings, to effectively step up and cope with life's challenges. However, if they are depleted, or out of balance, so are we! This imbalance leads to symptoms such as depression, anxiety, irritability, insomnia, cravings, etc, which can derail us. Many of us then turn to mood-altering chemicals for relief. But over time, they only make things worse. However, science has shown us which basic nutrients found in whole foods the brain needs to rebuild and regulate itself. Learn how amino acids, as protein builders, can help restore one's brain chemistry. Amino Acids have been researched since 1950! They have proven support the detoxification process for those who have used alcohol and/or drugs, reduce anxiety and depression as well as many other mental health conditions. Other offerings:
I have been practicing and studying yoga techniques for 15 years. I have done competitive yoga with www.usayoga.org and I possess a 300-Hour CTT in Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. I have over 100 hours in workshop CE training. Yoga is my true passion in life and passing that knowledge and love I have for yoga on to others is my dream! Yoga unites the mind, body, and soul in a way that eases tension and promotes youthfulness, glowing skin, weight loss, and a beautiful mind and body connection. Yoga is accessible to anyone and everyone....allow me to stand by your side and assist you in accomplishing your yoga practice goals! While working with me, we will do an initial consultation so that I can better understand where you are at with your practice and where you would like to go with it. I am also a Registered Psychotherapist with an MA in Psychology and you will have the option of incorporating therapeutic coaching into your physical practice. I specialize in trauma and recovery inspired yoga techniques.

(one of) My personal missions is to create an alternative to inpatient rehabilitation for drugs and alcohol that works because not everyone is in a position to leave their responsibilities to be inpatient for a significant amount of time.
I genuinely believe in the combination of a true desire to be sober, a personal sobriety coach, therapeutic yoga and meditation and most importantly Amino Acid Therapy. I'm excited to announce I will be starting my 18 month journey through the Academy for Addiction and Mental Health Nutrition. While the recovery road is not easy, it can be done and it is truly a gift.
