As a licensed counselor and a licensed addiction counselor, I can accompany and assist you on your journey towards healing. I believe that the foundation of successful therapy is the creation of a non-judgmental place where it is safe for you to explore your feelings, thoughts, beliefs, and experiences. Here we can examine and understand where and how certain behaviors that may have developed that may no longer be serving you and holding you back from inner healing and living the life you desire. I work to empower my clients using a strength-based approach where I assist you in identifying, developing, and drawing from your unique strengths and skills. I use an interactive trauma-informed and integrated approach where I pull from various therapeutic modalities and techniques that would be the most helpful and effective in helping you achieve your goals. Some of the treatment modalities I use include: EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Attachment Theory, Psychodynamic, Existential, Narrative and Humanistic.
