This spring, I’ve been busy chasing a big goal: the Leadville Marathon and a coveted coin to the Leadville 100. There’s something powerful about stepping up to a challenge that pushes both body and mind, and Leadville is exactly that. The altitude, the mountains, the grit, and the reward of earning every mile make it more than just a race - it’s an adventure with a mix of mental fortitude. Training has been full of long runs, strength work, eating carbs, and staying consistent, all with the goal of seeing what I’m capable of on race day. Sometimes having a goal on the calendar is the best motivation to keep showing up.
