FASCIANTOR METHOD WORKSHOP!!
Knowing about the fascial system, understanding the importance of keeping it healthy and hydrated and learning ways to keep it that way are incredibly important for your overall health and wellness. The WHOLE BODY approach of the Fascianator Method is a great place to start, which will help you identify where you may have immobility, inflexibility, pain, restriction, dis-ease and dys-function.
Your fascial network will always go back to what it knows; old movement patterns, stiffness, pain, etc; it is important to roll on a regular basis so you can begin to hydrate and remodel your fascial system, release toxic waste and live pain free inside and out!
The FASCIANATOR METHOD workshop
SUNDAY 11/20
1-2:30pm
The Mind Your Body Group Movement Center
1745 S. Broadway, Denver
$25
SPACE IS LIMITED! RSVP ASAP!
Please private message me if you have questions!

How does FASCIA affect the muscles of the neck and face?

Fascia is a specialized system in our body that looks similar to a spider’s web. Fascia is very densely woven, covering and interpenetrating every muscle, bone, nerve, artery and vein, as well as, all of our internal organs including the heart, lungs, brain and spinal cord.
The most interesting aspect of the fascial system is that it is not just a system of separate coverings. It is actually one continuous structure that exists from head to toe without interruption. In this way you can begin to see that each part of the entire body is connected to every other part by the fascia, like the yarn in a sweater.
If the fascia in our neck and face is tight and / or restricted, it can cause mobility issues with our head, tension headaches, jaw pain, cause our face to hold deeper wrinkles, cause small muscle spasms and tension knots as well as restrict lymph flow until we hydrate the tissue and release the tension.
Fascial restrictions can be caused by:

*Stress
*Trauma
*Inflammation
*Lack of movement
*Lack of water
*Surgical procedures
*Repetitive facial movements
*Fillers / injections / other fascial procedures
*Scars

The FASCIANATOR METHOD of Self Myofascial Release
is a whole body approach to stimulating and hydrating the entire fascial system from the bottom of the feet to the base of the skull using a special roller called the Fascianator, and each rolling session ends with a focus on the muscles of the neck and face!

AND...because the fascia around the neck and face is connected to the fascia throughout the rest of your body, you can be taking away an 'issue in your connective tissue' in a completely different place in your body!

Do you know what your largest organ is and why it is so important to keep it hydrated??(and what actually happens when it isn't?)

Your FASCIA, otherwise known as the connective tissue that holds approximately 80 trillion cells together, is considered your body's largest organ that creates our structure and posture. It is very densely woven; penetrating every muscle, bone, nerve, artery and vein, as well as all of our internal organs including the lungs, heart, brain, and spinal cord. Your fascia wraps, cushions and supports everything in your body.Ideally our fascia is well hydrated and resilient, allowing our bodies to move easily without restriction, but many things cause fascia to become dry and brittle; age, chronic movement patterns, injury, stress, just to name a few.If fascia is not healthy and hydrated it holds onto harmful toxins, emotional stress, etc. which can lead to inflammation, decreased mobility, flexibility, poor lymphatic flow, disease and much more.

The FASCIANATION METHOD is a form of Self Myofascial Release. A special roller called the FASCIANATOR is used to roll the entire body from the bottom of the feet to the base of skull; hydrating dry, hard fascia, which will allow muscles, joints, organs, nerves, etc. to function properly.
Are you ready to balance your body from top to bottom, left to right, inside out??
