Mental health and snuggling pets goes hand in hand 🤝 We had a blast with our friends from ! Our therapists loved being able to meet the puppies in their care while sharing our great work with one another 💕

Rebecca and Kaitlyn, two of our foster care team members, are officially Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI)-certified!

What is TBRI? This trauma-informed approach was developed by the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at Texas Christian University (TCU). It is designed to help meet the complex needs of children who have faced significant adversity by building trust and safety in relationships. By integrating these skills into our current programming, we can better help our young people see that no one is an island— there is healing in connection and those relationships, in turn, empower us all to thrive ☀️ We can’t wait to see this team’s impact!
