Seventeen-year-old Kenna found her life feeling like a cage. With few opportunities to spread her wings in her rural hometown and the stress of moving apart from parents battling addiction, she found both her academics and mental health in decline. But with the support of her grandparents and Savio's Youth Behavioral program, there was a chance to embrace a season of homecoming and discover all of life’s possibilities.

Mental health and snuggling pets goes hand in hand 🤝 We had a blast with our friends from ! Our therapists loved being able to meet the puppies in their care while sharing our great work with one another 💕

Being human means being capable of feeling multiple, even seemingly contradictory, emotions all at once. This super power allows us to process the complexity of the world we live in, enhance our ability to be resilient, and deepens our relationships to ourselves and others- how cool is that?!

We’d like to thank our incredible friends from CRS, Dynalectric, and SCA Health for coming out to help on our annual Volunteer Day! We cannot handle these projects alone, and your support ensures that we have more time and resources to focus on the families we serve 💚 We’re so grateful not only for your hard work, but all the laughs and fun we had along the way!
