Babies quickly become overtired after only one or two hours of wakefulness. Try to keep the intervals of wakefulness brief.
If your baby shows signs of drowsiness, really try to sooth her to sleep at an early hour.

Remember, there is no established sleep rhythms for newborns in their first weeks. You can still have a bedtime routine and already gives the baby. Some clue for self-soothing. That will help you later on.

Sleep training is „for“ and „with“ your child. Not „to“ your child.

It’s important to understand that your tiny human is looking for a good sleep. Sometimes they need a little help and the parents can help with that. Your child will benefit of good sleep, so do you. It’s about setting a routine and healthy habits. They will become more independent. And you learn so much more about your child, its sleep and needs. You are the expert of your child. Sleep consultants are the expert of your child sleep :)

Again, sleep is most important for your mental health. Make sure you and your little one get enough and the right sleep to have a happy life 🫶🏻
