Congress is still debating next year’s federal budget, and the threat of losing critical support for recovery and mental healthcare is real. Some of what’s at stake:

❗Programs that support recovery housing, peer support, and reentry services could be slashed
❗Families and youth in crisis may lose access to trusted support
❗The peer recovery workforce — the backbone of our progress — could face cuts

Here’s what you can do right now:

📌 Go to SupportRecovery.us to send a message to Congress

📌 Share this message and invite your people to speak up today to support recovery for tomorrow

It's National Recovery Month! 📢

You are invited to the Recovery Forward National Summit, happening September 26–27, 2025, at Georgia Tech Hotel & Conference Center in Atlanta, GA.

The Recovery Forward Summit, hosted by the Center for Addiction Recovery Support (CARS) during National Recovery Month, is a powerful opportunity for recovery leaders, partners, and champions across the country to come together and strengthen the recovery infrastructure at the local, state, and national levels.

Together, we will exchange proven solutions, spark innovation, and co-create bold strategies to advance recovery support that is accessible and sustainable for all communities.
By fostering collaboration across sectors and centering the voices of those most impacted, the Recovery Forward Summit aims to accelerate progress toward a future where recovery is visible, valued, and fully supported nationwide.
