What a year 2021 has been…

We celebrated Made to Play’s 1-year anniversary; we welcomed many new, wonderful kiddos into the MTP family; and even added one of my own into the mix! What a true blessing it has been to work with so many amazing families this year. A simple thank-you does not fully express the joy this work brings me every single day. Looking forward to an even brighter 2022 with big moves coming soon! Wishing you and yours a Happy New Year!

Well the first few weeks back to work, after bringing this babe into the world, has been a success! I have loved reconnecting with families, and seeing all of these sweet and silly faces again 🤗

Made to Play turned 1 year old today! We celebrated with Denver’s best ice cream and lots of playtime at the park. I’m so incredibly thankful for all the amazing families and friends that have supported and encouraged me throughout this past year. You all are the reasons I love my job! This last year would not have happened without you all, so big hugs and thanks to each of you ❤️

This week I started in-person OT sessions back up with many of my families! Telehealth went well, but man did I miss all the cheesy smiles, hugs, giggles, and celebratory moments that happen when we can connect in person. Looking forward to many more weeks just like this one. 🥰

Hi friends! It’s been a while, so I thought some updates on Made to Play’s most recent happenings might be appropriate.

💻 As many of you know, we went 100% telehealth for therapy back in November. This difficult decision was made in order to comply with local public health guidelines and to prioritize the health and safety of all families. Big thank you’s to all MTP families for being flexible and so resilient throughout this process.

💌 Be on the lookout in February for more details on when in-person therapy sessions will resume.

🩹 By the way, did you know that MTP now accepts Health First Colorado Medicaid insurance? Many MTP families currently use this program to cover therapy, so please reach out if you have more questions about how to utilize these benefits for MTP services.

🙏🏻 We are thankful to put 2020 behind us, and looking forward to 2021 being the best year yet!

Well we missed yesterday, but Charlie was set on making up for it today at the park. 🤦🏻‍♀️ On another note though, this is where you’ll find us next Thursday for Social Skills Group! ☝🏻Come enjoy an afternoon full of playing, learning, and meeting new friends.
