Feeling overwhelmed? Social media can be fantastic for building CONNECTIONS, and there’s so much value in that. I absolutely love it for making new friends! 💕
BUT scrolling through those perfectly curated (and often fake) feeds of ‘perfect’ parents and families can set unrealistic expectations, create pressure, and bring feelings of shame.
Not to mention the well-meaning accounts pushing unsafe parenting “hacks” and “education” from “experts” that might do more harm than good. There’s SOO much information and how do you trust what is REALLY what you need to do.
I’m here to remind you that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to parenting and sleep. Every child is unique, and every family has their own journey. 💕
At the Mama Co-Op, our certified sleep and potty training coaches are not only experienced pediatric RNs but also moms who have been exactly where you are right now.
Whether you let your baby nurse to sleep, prefer a Montessori floor mattress over a crib, sleep train with or without Cry It Out, use a night time Pull Up for your preschooler, or if your 1st grader needs to listen to a kid friendly podcast in order to fall asleep, there’s no shame in choosing what works best for YOUR family.
😊 The bottom line is everyone is striving for that much-needed restful sleep. From infancy through the teens years…RESTED IS BEST!
It’s perfectly okay to have messy hair, a cluttered house, and moments of exhaustion – that’s real life! I need to do better at sharing real life moments.
Let’s share our genuine and unfiltered moments to create a community that celebrates authenticity and the beautiful imperfections of parenthood.
