Our partnership with the Mission Arvada Day Shelter and Housing Navigation Center is a great example of what’s possible when organizations work together towards a common goal to serve the community. We're grateful for the awesome staff at the Mission!
We’re incredibly grateful to partner with SafeSide Recovery, an organization bringing heart, humanity, and real support to people navigating recovery. 🤝
SafeSide's peer support model is powerful because it’s rooted in something simple. Showing up, listening, and walking alongside someone without judgment.
As they describe it, they’re not there to tell someone which path to take. They’re there to hold the flashlight.
And sometimes, that light leads to life-changing moments.
As individuals moved into their own apartments after experiencing homelessness and walk through the door for the first time, you could see it all hit at once. Relief. Safety. Gratitude. The realization that this is my home.
Those are the moments this work is ALL about.
Through partnerships with organizations like Mission Arvada, SafeSide helps bridge gaps in care and makes sure people have someone in their corner every step of the way.
They don’t replace the system. They strengthen it, and they humanize it.
Most importantly, they remind people that they’re not alone.
