One of my most treasured gifts from my Ayurvedic healing journey is the ability to know my body is telling me!
I spent years going from specialist, specialist with no real answers. When I learned to look at my body and symptoms through the lens of Ayurveda, I was able to finally make sense of my symptoms and do the things that actually help me get out of this/ease and into feeling good on all levels.
Now, instead of just thinking of pain is something I need to get rid of, I look at it as a signal of my space and air energy, needing some support and containment.
Instead of thinking, low energy is something I need to fill up my tank, I realize how I use my energy and cultivate the energy are two different skill sets I need to work on.
I was able to take each symptom I was experiencing it and translated through the elemental lens to really understand what my body needed to feel better.
Ayurveda gave me a mindset, and a vocabulary to understand myself better and it means to create balance like I never had before.
