Your brand new tiny tot holding their head up like they were training for the Olympics in utero? šŖš¶
Plot twist: itās usually not strength. Itās tension.
Fresh newborns are meant to be curled, squishy, and figuring gravity out one millisecond at a time. When a brand new baby is consistently lifting or holding their head up very early on, it can be a sign that they are carrying a little extra tension.
GENTLE bodywork can encourage smooth, coordinated movement to support more comfortable feeding, easier positioning, and a calmer, happier tiny tot.
Strong is great. Balanced is better.
If your baby seems more plank than puddle, it might be worth a closer look. The goal is not to take away their sparkle, itās to help their body feel safe enough to soften. āØ
