In honor of Memorial Day, our residents put on their creative hats and crafted beautiful poppy wreaths to display on their apartment doors.

The red poppy has long been a symbol of remembrance for those who gave their lives in military service. Its significance dates back to World War I and was inspired by the famous poem In Flanders Fields, which described poppies blooming across battlefields where soldiers had fallen.

Memorial Day is a time to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Through this meaningful craft, our residents reflected on the holiday's history while creating something beautiful to share with our community.

Memorial Day may have been a week ago, but the memories are still fresh!

Our culinary team, led by Chef Julio, put together a spectacular cookout that brought everyone together for a wonderful day of great food, laughter, and fellowship. With perfect weather and even better company, it was a celebration to remember.

Legacy Journey: San Francisco Day 3 ✨

What an amazing day for our resident travelers! Today’s adventures included a visit to the iconic Alcatraz, a ride on the famous Ferris Wheel, lunch along the Wharf, and sightseeing throughout the beautiful city of San Francisco. 🌉🎡

Before dinner, we made a sweet stop at Golden Gate Fortune Cookies, where residents enjoyed watching the famous cookies being made right in front of them — and of course sampling a few treats! 🥠

The evening concluded with an unforgettable dining experience at Benu, a three Michelin star restaurant. From the artistry of the cuisine to the phenomenal hospitality, our residents truly appreciated every detail of the experience. It was a wonderful final full day together filled with laughter, memories, and meaningful moments.

Legacy Journey San Francisco – Day 2 🌉✨

Today’s adventure took us from the towering redwoods of Muir Woods to the iconic sights of San Francisco! 🌲🌁 We enjoyed lunch by the bay, explored the charm of Ghirardelli Square, and wrapped up the day with an unforgettable dinner experience at Le Petit Chef 🍽️✨

To top it all off, we watched the sun set over the Golden Gate Bridge — the perfect ending to an incredible day together. 🌅❤️

Who doesn’t love donuts? 🍩☕

Every month, our Sales Director, Jeromy, hosts Coffee & Donuts with our residents — complete with fun trivia and great conversation! This month, we learned that:

🌸 May is named after Maia, the Greek goddess of spring and fertility
🇲🇽 Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican Army’s victory at the Battle of Puebla
🌉 The Golden Gate Bridge officially opened on May 27, 1937

Not only did we learn some interesting facts, but we also shared lots of laughs and meaningful conversations along the way.

It’s always a sweet time when donuts and trivia are involved! ❤️

Legacy Journeys: San Francisco – Day 1 ✈️🌉

Our newest Legacy Journey is officially underway as two residents, accompanied by staff, traveled to beautiful San Francisco for an unforgettable experience together.

We started the day bright and early to catch our flight, though a weather delay slowed us down a bit. Thankfully, we arrived safe and sound, got settled into our hotel, and made it just in time for dinner at the iconic Cioppino’s Seafood Restaurant.

Despite the travel delay, it was a wonderful start to what is sure to be an amazing trip filled with memories, laughter, and new experiences.

What a beautiful week celebrating all the amazing moms at The Argyle — and wow, did we celebrate in style! ❤️

Our incredible culinary team put together a Mother’s Day brunch that was nothing short of spectacular, featuring prime rib, breakfast favorites, fresh fruit, shrimp cocktail, and so many delicious treats for residents and families to enjoy together.

From the photo booth fun to the laughter, hugs, and smiles shared throughout the day, it was truly a celebration filled with love and joy.

🎉 Cinco de Mayo was a fiesta to remember at The Argyle! 🇲🇽🌶️
Our talented culinary team treated residents to delicious Chili Rellenos for lunch and flavorful Carne Asada for dinner. In between meals, the celebration continued with a lively Cinco de Mayo party featuring a live mariachi band, refreshing margaritas, and a crowd-favorite layered dip with chips. 🎶🍹🥑
Even though the weather outside felt more like winter, inside The Argyle we were feeling the warmth and energy of Mexico! ❤️🔥
