Many athletes struggle with their postpartum bodies, often thinking, “I’m not exercising right now, so I should eat less.”

But this couldn’t be further from the truth!

If you’re breastfeeding, your body requires extra calories to produce milk (and nourish your baby!). Even if you’re not, your body still needs sufficient fuel to heal from birth—no matter how your baby was delivered.

Focus on nutrient-dense, whole foods rich in protein and collagen to support recovery. If you’re breastfeeding, warm meals like stews, soups, and bone broth can be especially nourishing.

Remember, this is just a season of life. It doesn’t define you.

You’ll return to the gym and track macros if that’s your goal—but right now, healing and nourishment should be the priority ❤️

Most people don't drink enough water, and this is such an easy way to take care of your health on a daily basis.

Remember, don't wait until you are thirsty, do your body a favor and start your day with a big glass of water, and keep on going.

Why should you stay hydrated 👇

- Enhanced Brain Function;
- Regulated Body Temperature;
- Digestive Health;
- Detoxification;
- Joint and Muscle Lubrication;
- Healthy Skin (now I got most women's attention :));

When I started prioritizing my health and the results became visible, I heard all sorts of comments:

➡️ "You must have great genetics." (No more than anyone else I know.)

➡️ "It looks easy for you." (It wasn’t. We likely shared many of the same frustrations.)

➡️ "You enjoy working out." (Correction: I made it a priority to find a sport I could stick with.)

➡️ "You wake up early because you go to bed early. I can't sleep at that time." (I used to hate going to bed early, but I needed to find time to work out, and 6 AM was the time that worked for me.)

➡️ "You eat well because you like to cook." (Not true—I never particularly enjoyed cooking anything beyond pasta. Like anyone, I had to learn how to prepare nutritious meals.)

When you see someone who is healthy, remember—they didn’t just stumble upon it. They worked hard and practiced patience, understanding that true success comes from falling in love with the process and letting go of strict timelines.

I'm not blaming anyone who does that - because they were probably NEVER told that their lifestyle mattered to heal their PCOS.

However, if that's you, or someone you know, it's time to take care of yourself the proper way - you cannot and will not heal your PCOS with supplementation unless your lifestyle is 200% in check.

The wider the base, the higher you go!
