Monday Mantra ✨ 12.6.2021
Spend time today reflecting on the energy we allow ourselves to accept. This time of year many of us are drawn to do for others. While it is wonderful to extend kindness to others, it is also important to accept these things for yourself.

When was the last time you accepted kindness? What parts of yourself need healing energy?

If from nobody else I am personally sending you compassion. I am sending you kindness. I am sending you the energy you need to heal.

During my practice I spend a lot of time with my animals and feel they are just as in tune (if not more) with the magic ✨
When they seek me out not during ritual times that can be even more special. Like waking up to see my cat sleeping by my feet. It’s an unspoken bond.
I also talk mostly about Grey Cat on here but this is one of my other companions: Carrot 🥕

The weather here in Denver has been been pretty rainy and stormy and that seemed like a great time to talk about Storm Water ⛈
In magic there are so many uses to all aspects of nature.  Moon water is always helpful and a so useful in all types of magic. However there are some different uses for storm water.
All you have to do is leave a cleansed vessel outside during a storm.  I like to use glass as it won’t rust from sitting out in the wet weather and is easy to seal.  The weight of it also makes it more likely the storm won’t blow it over ⚡️
Storm water can be used for a variety of things.  It is commonly used for curse work, but as I don’t practice using curses I won’t include that information here.
Try to spread it on the edges of your home.  This can be out in the yard, or along windowsills or doorways.  It will help in a similar protective way to ward off energies with malicious intent ✨
I also like to use storm water to empower myself.  Storms are strong.  I will cleanse myself or the jewelry I am wearing when I need an extra dose of strength and protection.

I don’t know about anyone else but these changes in weather has really turned around my mood ☀️
When I’m feeling down it becomes incredibly difficult to connect with the cards. I’m happy that the down feelings are passing.

We have spent so much time over the last year thinking about others, but now it is time to find some balance and do some things for yourself as well.
