At Kimel Psychological Services (KPS), we are proud to join together as a team for the Walk With Autism, hosted by the Autism Society of Colorado.

KPS is a woman- and minority-owned small group psychology practice in Denver, founded by Dr. Lila Kimel in 2013. Our team of licensed clinical psychologists and doctoral students provides high-quality, empirically validated, and culturally sensitive evaluations and psychotherapy. We are also one of the few practices in Denver that can serve families in both English and Spanish. Guided by a neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based approach, our mission is to help individuals and their families understand and embrace their strengths and differences, and to connect them with the tools and supports they need to thrive.

Supporting this walk is deeply meaningful to us, because autism is central to the lives of the individuals and families we serve every day. Every dollar raised stays here in Colorado, funding programs, services, and advocacy efforts that make a real difference in our local communities.

We are honored to stand with the Autism Society of Colorado and invite you to partner with us in this effort. Together, we can celebrate neurodiversity, uplift families, and strengthen resources for individuals with autism across Colorado.

The Denver: Walk With Autism and Resource Fair is on Saturday September 20, 2025. It includes the following events: Walk with Autism Denver and Walk with Autism Denver- Virtual.

We’re excited to share that LinkTalent OT and Kimel Psychological Services are teaming up to present a Lunch & Learn on the intersection of occupational therapy and psychotherapy for teens and young adults working toward their life and career goals. This event is open to both professionals and families who want to learn more about how these services complement each other.
As some of you know, LinkTalent OT is now subleasing space within Kimel Psychological Services, allowing us to collaborate more closely and provide in-house care for teens and young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. We both accept Health First Colorado Medicaid, making referrals seamless and ensuring accessible care for those who need it most.

Note that we take folks with Healthfirst Colorado Medicaid and all of the RAE's for behavioral health Medicaid.

Hi all. We are excited to announce our upcoming DBT Group for Neurodivergent Teens (ASD, ADHD). The group starts on 3/3/2025 and we are currently looking for 3 more teens and their parents to join. Note that we accept Health First Colorado Medicaid and all behavioral health RAE's from Medicaid. Thanks.
