🔹 OB/GYNs are medical doctors who provide prenatal care, deliver babies (including C-sections), and perform surgeries.
🔹 Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) are advanced practice nurses who offer prenatal care and deliver babies, and work with OB/GYNs for higher-risk cases.
🔹 Doulas are non-medical professionals who offer emotional and physical support during labor — think coaching, comfort, and encouragement.

At HCA HealthONE Mile High OBGYN and Midwifery, we offer care from both OB/GYNs and certified nurse midwives, and we’re happy to work with your doula too.

It’s a great way to stay healthy both physically and mentally. But it’s important to remember to return to exercise safely, especially if you have had a complicated birth or a C-section.
