Feldman Mortuary & Memorial

Feldman Mortuary & Memorial Feldman Memorial is a Jewish funeral home that has been open to the Denver communities since 1936. The chapel comfortably seats 200 guests.

They are proud to serve the Jewish community and implement meaningful Jewish customs in each service that they put on. Whether you are currently practicing the religion or identify in a cultural way, they welcome any and all interested in their services. The funeral planning staff is certified, trained, and highly experienced in anything to do with end-of-life arrangements. With premium offerings such as water cremation, green burial, and body composting, you can find what you are looking for through the mortuary. Feldman Memorial offers traditional funeral options with burial. Or you can choose cremation services, whether a direct cremation without a ceremony or cremation with a memorial ceremony. Military honors and veteran services will be implemented into any program for those who qualify. You do not need to get caught up in the paperwork – the planning team will take care of it for you. Life celebrations are a less traditional option, being more like a party to honor a life well-lived. You can customize any ceremony to your liking, with the main focus on creating a personalized farewell for your loved one. Pre-planning funeral services can be made before a death even occurs. You can plan for the unexpected by sitting down with the funeral team to choose your caskets, vaults, memorials, urns, and permanent memorialization details. Next, choose a guest list and who you would like to speak on your behalf at your funeral. And you may even consider catering options if you would like to hold a reception after the ceremony. When you choose pre-planning services, your family will appreciate your thoughtfulness. Feldman Memorial offers grief resources along with each end-of-life service for Lakewood, Aurora, Denver, Centennial, Lone Tree, Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Highlands Ranch, Cherry Hills, Greenwood Village, and Littleton families. They want to guide you through the mourning process to offer relief during a challenging time. Feldman Memorial is located at 1655 York St Denver, CO 80206. Please call to start planning: (303) 322-7764.

There’s such comfort in having tangible things in your life. Family photos, mementos from travels, dog-eared books—these items turn a house into a home. But what happens to the ornament collection and deluxe Scrabble set after you die? Your kids, grandkids, nieces, and friends have to sort through it. Unless you do it yourself, so they don’t have to. ‘’Do you guys ever think about dying?” - Barbie
If you watched the movie Barbie or even the trailer, this moment was both hilarious and cringeworthy. It’s not every day we talk about or even think about death. And when we do, it’s rarely about our own mortality! Jamie Sarche, Director ...

🌿 On Earth Day, we want you to know about options that allow people to care for their bodies while also caring for the Earth!

In Colorado, we’re fortunate to have a number of green death care options that align with personal values and ecological responsibility.

✨ ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Green Burial – No embalming, biodegradable caskets, and natural burial grounds.

Water Cremation (Alkaline Hydrolysis) – Uses water and alkali instead of fire, with significantly less environmental impact.

Natural Organic Reduction (Human Composting) – A gentle, soil-creating process now legal in Colorado, returning the body to the earth in a meaningful way.

💬 We can choose paths that reflect our care for the planet and the people we leave behind.

🔗 If you're curious about sustainable death care in Colorado—for yourself, a client, or a loved one—let’s start the conversation.

Dear Eric >> I was an attorney when I started having memory problems at age 65. I retired and subsequently learned that I had a devastating rare dementia with a very short lifespan. Instead of providing me support, my friends disappeared from my life, at the time I needed them most. Friends may rally around you when you have cancer, driving you to chemo treatments, dropping off food and other things to support you; when you have dementia, everyone just disappears.

I’ve always been a sociable person and I’m missing that so much, but I have no idea how or where to start. Any ideas?
