Paria is accepting new clients! Reach out today for a free phone consultation!

“Hi, I’m Paria Ashouri.
I work with individuals who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or in the midst of a life transition. Whether you’re navigating depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, or simply sitting with big questions about identity, purpose, or belonging, you don’t have to do it alone. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in depth-oriented and mindfulness-based practices. Drawing from Jungian, transpersonal, IFS, and person-centered frameworks, I hold space for all parts of you. Healing isn’t about fixing, but perhaps about connection; to self, to meaning, to the parts of you that have longed to be seen. In our work together, we’ll explore what’s arising with curiosity and care, and begin to gently reconnect with your inner wisdom and sense of wholeness. I look forward to meeting you and witnessing the unfolding of your unique journey!”

‼️ NEW THERAPIST ALERT ‼️

Meet Kerrick Crace, LPCC

“Hi, I’m Kerrick (they/them) — provisionally licensed psychotherapist, and trauma researcher.

I want to begin by honoring the tender courage it takes to even search for healing — especially when you’ve been taught that your pain, your body, or your authenticity is too much, not enough, or unworthy of care. I’m here to say: you make sense. Your pain is real. And healing is possible — not by becoming someone else, but by coming home to yourself.

I am a white, pansexual, neurodivergent, socialized-male, adopted, non-binary person, raised in a conservative & Christian fundamentalist household in the American Southeast. These “social locations“ deeply shape my understanding of identity, trauma, safety, systemic harm, and the sacred reclamation process that healing truly is. My first career was as a musician and audio engineer, focusing most of my work on film music and sound production — music and sound serve as deep portals of wisdom for me and I often utilize it with clients in various forms.

My work centers individuals navigating:

Q***r trauma and identity fragmentation
Religious deconstruction and spiritual reclamation
Complex PTSD, dissociation, grief, high sensitivity, and nervous system dysregulation
Self-worth struggles, inner critic parts, and internalized oppression
Non-binary spirituality, ancestral disconnection, decolonization, and embodied truth
I blend contemplative psychotherapy, somatic, narrative, depth, and parts-based modalities with Buddhist psychology, and quantum healing, creating spacious, nonlinear, and deeply personalized pathways for integration.

Whether through therapy, group ritual, or full-spectrum healing immersion, I aim to hold refuge for your becoming — and to walk with you through the shadows, thresholds, and resurrections of this life.

You are not broken. You are not too late. You are becoming. You are allowed to be witnessed in your wholeness.

We heal together.”

New Therapist Alert!! ‼️

Meet Christine!

“‘The map is not the territory’ reminds me that our stories about ourselves are not the same as our lived experience and that healing begins when we reconnect with what is truly present. My work is grounded in Gestalt and mindfulness-based approaches, creating a space where all parts of you are welcome, even when words aren’t yet available. I support clients in slowing down, noticing, and cultivating a compassionate inner observer, opening the way to growth and deeper self-understanding. With training in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling, I also bring a special focus to those navigating spiritual emergence or transformative life experiences.”

Meet Brien Benjamin, LPCC! He has his MA from Naropa University, and his BA from Cornell University!

“I help people find the capacity to face what’s felt overwhelming and reconnect with their inner sense of safety and strength.
Using somatic trauma therapy—like Brainspotting, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and mindfulness—I guide clients out of their heads and into their body’s natural healing process.
By building awareness of felt sensations, we can unlock stored trauma and create space for healing and change.
I also support people in discovering their purpose, developing boundaries, and building relationships that reflect their true values.”

Meet one of our therapists at HC, Tara!

“As a therapist, I believe that every individual has an innate capacity for wisdom, healing, and wholeness. My role is to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported and empowered to access their inner strengths. Guided by a deep commitment to unconditional positive regard, I focus on creating meaningful therapeutic connections that honor each client’s unique experiences and identity.

Growing up a neurodivergent child, I was medicated and pushed into talk therapy that only seemed to make things worse to be completely honest. What offered me the most solace in these times was my relationship to nature and animals. For this reason, I find it important to offer trauma-informed, diverse approaches to therapy, such as animal-assisted therapy, mindfulness and nature based therapies, walk-and-talk sessions, and nature retreats, as well as, traditional office and telehealth sessions. It is very important to me to provide therapy that is flexible and accessible for clients to engage in, so we will collaborate to find the best approach for your sessions possible!”
